Nu är det över två månader sedan föregående SLO sa upp sig från sin tjänst hos Malmö FF. Närmare bestämt den 14 februari. Idag spelar vi vår nionde omgång i allsvenskan, vi har haft två derbyn och såväl borta som hemmapremiär, men vi har fortfarande ingen SLO.
Vi har från första början tryckt hårt på det faktum att vår SLO inte bara bör, utan ska, vara förankrad hos oss supportrar. En SLO’s främsta syfte är att arbeta med supportrar, inget annat. Vi har även uttryckt att vi förväntar oss att personen är någon med god kännedom och insikt i Malmös supporterliv. Inget annat kan, eller kommer att accepteras.

“To do the job properly, the SLO needs to receive good information from all sides. It is therefore essential that the SLO is credible and has the respect and acceptance of everyone involved (…) When it comes to decisions made by the club management, it may often be preferable for these decisions to be communicated to the fans by the SLO rather than fans simply reading about them in the newspaper or on the club website.”
